Sidney Bruhl needs a hit play! Although his career is in a slump, a former student
has sent him a play that seems destined to become a huge hit! Bruhl invites him over.
Now he must think ~ to what lengths will he go to get that play? Murder?

ROB MAY (Sidney Bruhl), was in both The Odd Couple and Dark of the Moon last season. He received a Best Actor Gem Award for his Atticus Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird, and has appeared in several shows at both Jewel Box and area theatres. A Real Estate Broker/Auctioneer, and Personal Property Appraiser, he thanks his wife, Jaye, for her theatrical tolerance level.
MICHEL CROSS (Myra Bruhl) is a member of the theatre’s Board of Advisors and has appeared in many shows, most recently The Sound of Music, Steel Magnolias and Bad Seed. She received a Best Actress Gem Award as Dolly Levi in The Matchmaker. She lives in Norman with husband Dr. Braden Cross.
DALE MORGAN (Clifford Anderson) was seen as Baby John in West Side Story at Summerstock and has Gem Awards for Tribute, Urning It, and The Foreigner. This one’s for Katie, not only my sister and best friend, but also the first person I used to love to scare to death. Dale is on the Board of Advisors and is Box Office Manager.
SUSAN REVILLE (Helga Ten Dorp) played the Conjur Woman in last season’s Dark of the Moon, has a Best Actress Gem Award for The Lion in Winter, and has appeared in many productions over the years. A member of the Board of Advisors, she teaches English at Edmond Santa Fe High School. Susan played Helga Ten Dorp in our 1996 production.
JAMES GORDON (Porter Milgrim) was stage manager for Nunsense, appears in Deathtrap, and will be seen in Arsenic and Old Lace. A Volunteer-of-the-Year, he has appeared on stage in many productions, and had various jobs back stage. Last season, he was stage manager for the Gem Award-winning Someone to Love and Tuesdays With Morrie.

CHUCK TWEED (Director) has been Production Director for 30 years. He was a drama teacher for 27 years in the Mid- Del district. He is also Artistic Director of Summerstock in Edmond during the summer. He is most appreciative of everyone who has worked hard to help Jewel Box Theatre get to this momentous anniversary! Bravo!
JUDI FRETWELL (Stage Manager) recently appeared in the Poteet Theatre musical The Music Man, and ran lights for Into the Woods there. PEGGY HOSHALL (Assistant Director) enjoyed success in such Jewel Box shows as Ballroom, Moon Over Buffalo, and The Sound of Music. For the past 6 years she has been director of Fine Arts in Edmond, and for 15 years has been Director of family classics for homeschoolers. Off stage, Peggy browses for antiques for her business.
RITA ALLEN (Props) won a Gem Award for Moon Over Buffalo, and a Volunteer-of-the-Year plaque. For many shows, this wonderful person has worked backstage. On the Board of Advisors, Rita celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary a couple of years ago, and we love having her around!
MENDY KANE (Assistant Props/Sound) was in the Poteet Theatre musicals The Music Man and Bye Bye Birdie, and was head of props for Chuck’s The Foreigner there. She has been awarded the Don Tussing Backstage Trophy, a Spotlight, and Volunteer of the Year. Mendy has been on and off stage with us for many wonderful seasons.
