be tapping your toes to this blast from the past!


THE CAST

JOY KINSER was last seen on our stage in Oklahoma! and we are glad she has returned for Beehive. Joy is very active with Cynthia Poteet Little Theatre and City
Youth Inc. and has been seen in such productions as Best Christmas Pageant Ever as Grace Bradley, as well as Into the Woods, Music Man and A Night of Shorts for which she also served as choreographer. Joy loves old movies and Gene Kelly, and says she wants to become a Sara Phoenix.

WENDI LYNN STOLTZFUS is making her Jewel Box Debut. Originally from Pennsylvania. Wendi is a freshman at Oklahoma City University, double-majoring in Theatre Performance and Music. She was last seen as the Baker’s Wife in Cynthia Poteet Theatre’s production of Into the Woods. Some of her favorite roles back home include Shelly in Bat Boy and Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie. Wendi thanks her friends for keeping her sane and her family for long distance love and support.
JENNIFER TEEL started to perform at age 4. Some of her most recent roles include the Witch in Into the Woods, the Minstrel in Once Upon a Mattress, and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. Jennifer works full time as a stay-at-home mom with her two beautiful children Nathan and Sarah. She thanks her husband Craig for all his help. A great big thanks to Sara, Dale and Neil for making her first experience here such a fun one. To the fellow cast women, break a leg and let’s blow them away.
DANETTE WILSON makes her first appearance at the Jewel Box Theatre. Previous credits include the films Wisteria: The Story of Albert Fish, Elizabethtown and Surveillance, as well as several commercials. Some of her theatre credits include For Colored Girls..., Nickled and Dimed, and The Proverb in Baltimore, Maryland. Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Danette attended Grambling State University in Louisiana and earned a BA in Communication and Theatre.
RACHEL BARRY, in the summer of 2000, was an Orphan in our Under the Stars production of Annie. All grown up, we welcome her back with Beehive. She
has kept busy with such roles as Tweedle Dee in Alice in Wonderland, Annie, The Ghost of Christmas Past in Scrooge!, Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors, Lasy Rowena in Once Upon a Mattress, as well as a variety show, Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah, at Cynthia Poteet Theatre.
CANDACE CAULEY is making her Jewel Box debut! She recently moved to Oklahoma with her husband Maxwell. Candace holds an M.F.A. in Theater Design
from the University of Houston and has been seen in such shows as Yerma, For Colored Girls..., Merchant of Venice and Bye Bye Birdie, to name a few. Candace designed costumes for Houston’s Children’s Theater Fest and is also an award-winning playwright and poet.
PAMELA HOOVER is making her community theatre debut in Beehive. Pamela loves singing, dancing, acting, and watching a really good movie. Pamela is very
excited to be releasing her first album in March 2007. Pamela has enjoyed roles in shows such as To Kill a Mockingbird, Color Girls and The Runaways. She is also very active within her church and is the founder of a youth group called “J-Nissi”. We welcome Pamela to the Jewel Box and look forward to seeing more of her!
LIESL IRWIN is a Minnesota native who recently moved to Oklahoma with her husband Steve. In high school and college she was a synchronized swimmer. Liesl is making her Jewel Box debut. Before moving to Oklahoma she had been in such productions as The Pajama Game, Godspell, Into the Woods and was Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. We are very excited to have her as part of our Jewel Box family!

THE CREW

SARA PHOENIX (Director) opened the season with the world premiere of Someone to Love. March 1st, she had not one, but TWO opening nights: Beehive at Jewel Box and Peter Pan at Edmond North, for which she did the choreography. At
Cynthia Poteet, she directed Into the Woods and Scrooge! and directed Visiting Mr. Green for Carpenter Square Theatre. Sara recently accepted an invitation to join the Jewel Box Board of Advisors and will also be doing the choreography for West Side Story for Summerstock in Edmond this summer.
DALE MORGAN (Stage Manager) loved being the only male in an all female cast during rehearsals. The Box Office Manager for Jewel Box, he is also a pre-school teacher working with three- and four-year-olds. Dale wants to thank Sara for all the fun and asks WILL YOU BE MY BEST FRIEND? Much love to Joy and all my ladies in the show...GIRL POWER!
CHARLOTTE ROSE (Costumes) has costumed the entire season, receiving rave reviews for her work on Dark of the Moon and Greater Tuna. She has appeared in film, commercials, and industrials and has been the costume designer, and/or make-up artist for many area theaters.
